Much of what I wrote in The 13 Precepts, as well as here deals with personal combat, but a surprising amount of it is applicable in everyday life as well as in business. As Musashi said, by studying “the way” broadly, you can see connections and similarities between seemingly different things and use that knowledge to improve your understanding of the world.
These are “the other precepts” that didn’t make it into the first book. As before, each precept is a stand-alone concept. It does need the prior precept, nor does it lead in to the following one. Like other similar books, the concepts stand alone and are important in and of themselves. The goal, if we must identify it, is this. To win the life fight, not just the gunfight or street fight.
